CDC Pink Book Course: webinar
The webinar series will present summaries of the relevant sections of the 13th edition of “Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases” (The Pink Book). Each webinar in the series (15 in total) will last approximately 1 hour and cover topics as noted in the schedule on web page.
You Call the Shots Modules
You Call the Shots is a web-based training course developed through the Project to Enhance Immunization Content in Nursing Education and Training. Several updated modules are now available, including Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal, and Meningococcal. Please visit the You Call the Shots web page for additional information and other modules. Continuing Education (CE) credit is available for viewing a module and completing an evaluation.
CDC and Medscape
This special series of commentaries, part of a collaboration between CDC and Medscape, is designed to deliver CDC’s authoritative guidance directly to Medscape’s physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care providers. In this series, CDC experts offer video commentaries on current topics important to practicing clinicians. NCIRD has contributed to a variety of commentaries. You may need to sign up and log in as a member to view the commentaries. Registration is free.
Documentary: Someone You Love
The Indiana Immunization Coalition, in partnership with the Indiana School of Medicine and Lumiere Media, is now offering CME credits to physicians nationwide. The film is available at no charge through the Indiana University School of Medicine as an online CME activity worth 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Immunize Nevada offers monthly free continuing education opportunities called Immunization Learning Exchange, also known as NILE. This program offers monthly webinars, immunization 101 training and an annual health conference for healthcare providers to fine-tune skills, network with colleagues, and earn continuing education credits.

Intermountain HPV Vaccination Coalition
Goals/Objectives of the coalition: Develop Intermountain West HPV Vaccination Coalition, develop and enhance linkages/collaborations through the coalition and test HPV immunization interventions in various clinical settings in IW states. Coalition has free monthly tele-conference trainings and quarterly in-person trainings.
